Waiting for a miracle

Hi everyone i`ve at last been able to get out in the garden & have a break from crafting
not that i needed one, but the garden was suffering lol so now the patio is weed free again
for at least another couple of weeks lol

I made this card for my daughter & her work colleagues
& she said Donna (who is leaving to have a baby) always refers to her bump
as her little miracle....So when i found this image on Deposit Photos & knew it would be perfect

I`ve used backing papers from forever friends
& cherry lyn flourish die

i created the sentiment on the computer & cut with
spellbinders stately circles

Flowers are made using a Tonic flower punch

Sneaky Peek Crafters Companion Brambly Hedge

Hi all my lovely crafty friends, i`m really excited to be sharing with you one of my very 1st samples for the new Crafters Companion  Brambly Hedge launch. It`s an amazing cd (3 in fact) packed full of beautiful toppers, papers, embellishments & more, & is being launched 14th June on Create & Craft.

For my 1st sample i decided to make a 4 drawer
easel card, & used the BH Spring CD
for the topper & backing paper

The large flower was in my crafty stash & worked really well

I printed the swirl flourish from the CD
& coloured it using Spectrum Noir
The sentiment is also on the CD

I will be posting a sneaky peek each day this week
so would love if you popped back again xxx

Fathers day

Evening everyone, well no sun in Norfolk today so that was disappointing,
but it did allow me to get some samples done for Crafters Companion.
Round my mum & dad`s tomorrow with all the family & i`m so looking forward to that...
nothing better than family time (although crafting comes very close lol)
We are having an early Father`s day as my mum & dad are on their hols next week
so i thought i`d share the card i made for my dad. As most of you are probably aware
i am an over embellisher, i tend to pack my cards with lots of detail
but i really wanted to keep my dad`s card simple & i`m really pleased
how this has turned out

I used CC embossaalicious 8x8 folder on the grey backing card
& the stripy charcoal paper is a sample of wallpaper

I made the topper using scrapbook factory deluxe
& cut with Spellbinders
The effect i got on dad was a complete mistake -
I printed onto photo paper & didn`t let the ink dry
so when i put it through my ebosser the ink came off on the mat
but how good does it look...I probably couldn`t do it again if i tried lol
I cut the sentiment using Spellbinders tags die & added some ribbon to each side

Thanks for stopping by
Lots of love

A touch of elegance

Hi everyone hope you`ve all got this beautiful sunshine, & making the most of it.
Its amazing what a bit of sunshine does, everyone seems to be more happier :)
I have been busy making samples for Crafters Companion,
so i`m sorry i haven`t been about much but i will be able to share some sneak peeks next week.

Today i  thought i`d share this 30th Birthday card that someone ordered.
She wanted it black, gold & white with her sisters name being the focal point

I cut the name using Gypsy Font
& used a black & gold Hunkydory backing card
Spellbinders Stately circles were used for the sentiment
I made the flowers using a daisy punch & added a black pearl to each

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day lots of crafty love xxx
